Burano was quite possibly the windiest, rainiest part of our day, which is such a shame because this adorable town would've looked even better in the sun.
Every building is painted a different color, and they can't be repainted without permission, as a means of preserving all this town's cuteness.
It's one of the island's off of Venice, only a water taxi ride away, and definitely worth seeing! I can't wait to go back someday when it's warm, sit outside at a small cafe with a Bellini, and enjoy the brightly colored backdrop.
i can't believe how beautiful even in such crappy weather! totally going htere but not till i have a bf... i don't think i could handle venice and all it's romance as a single girl
