Sullivan's Island

The snow this past week was really nice thanks to the snow days we got. I'm one of those people that actually likes the snow. It's pretty, peaceful and I would so much rather have snow than a really cold rainy day. But now I've had my fix and am ready for summer and beaches, although I can't actually remember the last time I went to the beach in the summer. I did, however, go a couple of weeks ago when I was in Charleston.
On our last morning, we drove to Sullivan's Island to walk along the beach before stopping at an incredible beach joint for lunch (more on that later!)
It wasn't exactly hot, or even warm, but walking along the beach was refreshing and fun, especially since we met so many dog friends along the way! It got prettier as the sun came up, so naturally, I took an obscene amount of pictures.
P.S. If anyone wants to offer me their beach house, I guess I'll accept.

  2. Looks so beautiful! There is something so nice about visiting beaches off season, and walking along them. I do that a lot here in Spain because there aren't that many people on the beaches right now and it's peaceful.
